Join Us!
The Suburban Garden Club is a very active organization made up of a diverse group of enthusiastic members who benefit from informative presentations, free advice from experienced gardeners, and the pleasure of spending time with people who share a passion for gardening, environmental issues, floral design and community involvement.
Because many of our members work, our meetings are held in the evening. Meetings feature interesting speakers, special events and hands-on floral design programs. We meet on the third Wednesday of every month (except December, July and August) at the Cheshire Senior Center. Meetings start at 7:30, but members and guests are encouraged to arrive at 7:00 to socialize and enjoy the delicious refreshments provided by our Hospitality Committee.
Membership is open to men and women from Cheshire and surrounding towns. Annual membership dues are $30.
Club members are automatically enrolled in the Federated Garden Clubs of CT (FGCCT) and receive its monthly newsletters which provide gardening-related advice and information on regional and national activities. Members also receive a 10% discount on purchases at Cheshire Nursery.
New members are always welcome! Please click here for a membership application. For more information please contact Chairperson, Pat Archibald, at archibalddddp@cox.net.
