Guests are welcome at all meetings except for those specifically restricted to members. Unless otherwise noted, meetings are held at the Cheshire Senior Center, 240 Maple Avenue, Cheshire. Refreshments are available at 7:00 PM; our program begins at 7:30. There is a suggested fee of $5.00 for non-members. This fee is deducted from the initial membership fee if you decide to join our club.

Potluck Dinner starts at 6:30 P.M. Bring your specialty dish and start the year off with good food, friends, and flowers. Remember to bring flowers and vegetables from your garden for centerpieces and horticulture points. Please remember that everyone should help with clean-up.

Ways to Attract Birds in Connecticut
Birding expert Steve Broker will focus on the diversity of birds in CT, habitat use, and the ways in which one can enjoy birds and participate in citizen science research on birds in the state. Steve has worked in science education in Connecticut for 45 years, is past president of the Connecticut Ornithological Association, and has compiled the results of the Connecticut Christmas Bird Count for the past 33 years.
